Eyelash extensions are a saving grace for anyone who long for the full and luscious look and yet, more often than not, they don’t really look as natural as we’d like for them to be.
Here are a few simple tips to help you achieve your dreams!
- Trim and Curl
If you want your false eyelashes to look natural and fit the shape of your eyes perfectly, you can try to trim the edges of the false lashes to fit the length of your eyelids. Additionally, you can even wrap your false lash around a makeup brush or a pen to give it a curve that can match your eye.
- Glue the lashes onto your natural lashes
If you want to avoid the scary gap between the lash band and your lash line, make sure you glue the eyelashes onto your natural lashes rather than the lids. To be even safer, use a darker eyelash glue instead of a white or transparent glue. It’ll help avoid any white residue and blend any clumps in.
- Blend with a mascara
Use a mascara to comb your eyelashes into the false lashes. Gently swipe the wand from the base to the tip a few times and you’re done! It’ll add volume, darken the lashes and make the result much more natural looking, all in one go! As an additional tip, use mink eyelashes as they’re much closer to looking like real lashes than others!
- Use eyeliner as a cover
Use a dark brown or a black liner to fill in any gaps between your lashes before applying the false lashes. Apply the liner again on the top of the bands to blend any parts of seams that might be seen.
- Use your skin to hide the seams
Using your own skin to hide the bands of your false eyelashes is a clever trick. It may sound complicated but all you really have to do is pull down the skin of your lids gently and push them against the drying glue!
